What Smart Design?
I can't believe that I am reviewing clothes pins, but these are so bad that I need to release my anger. The springs on these pins are made from very thin wire, and pins don't close with much strength. Also, they are narrower than old pins. These combined features result in pins that come apart when the user tries to pin anything thick (self-destructing clothes pins; maybe that is the idea behind the "Smart Design" name).
I remember when all clothes pins came from Maine. They had sturdy springs, designed to last a lifetime (we have some of these Maine pins that are probably 40 years old). Is this more of American Carnage? Yes, it is. I don't blame the Chinese. We did this to ourselves; shipping jobs to the other side of the world to make cheap garbage and thereby increase profits. All of this so that our own people can live in poverty, and die from despair.
