This drive allows your computer to use a portable Linux operating system, plus some Linux-based apps. But there is no feature for user to select password for admin rights. Thus almost useless. You cannot even change the date and time. It failed on three different computers. I went back and forth with their "customer support." for weeks. Their responses were very slow and basically cut and paste from their instructions. I suspect this item had been used before it was resold to me..Prairie IT could not fix the defect. It refused to replace with a non-defective item. Then they notified me that they will not issue a refund after 30 days. I used more than that trying to work with their customer service. Keep in mind this is all open-source software conveniently packaged on a portable drive. Replacement should be a no-brainer. It seems their only aim is to charge a premium price, but provide no quality control and no customer service.
