I think I must have received a different product than all the other people received that gave it five stars. The product I received barely gets warm. To test it, I followed the instructions, plug it in and place a pillow on it for 20 minutes. It was hardly warm. I pulled the actual electric pad out from the cover and it felt somewhat warm, but I was surprised to see it's dimensions. It's only 5 1/2 inches x 20 inches. The cover is 12.5" x 25". So the pad is tiny. There's no way this ever retailed for the suggested $39.95. I'm going to send it back because it's not going to work for my little feral, outdoor kitty.
