BEWARE! This product contains methylisothiazolinone, a known synthetic preservative and allergen. I developed an extremely uncomfortable contact dermatitis after using this product. It seems rather misleading for the company to label this product as "free and clear" when it contains a substance that has been designated by the American Contact Dermatitis Society as contact allergen of the year for 2013. The NY Times recently published an article about this substance and the severe allergic reactions that have been associated with it. Apparently, the ingredient is found in many cosmetic and personal hygiene products. I just assumed that Seventh Generation would deliberately avoid using this substance. I was wrong.
