LocTote: I fell in love with this bag the moment I saw it and knew I had to have it. I went back and forth on wether or not to purchase because of the price $95 but eventually gave in even after reading some mixed reviews. I read that several people had problems with the lock resetting itself and not being able to unlock their bag. I also read how great it was when at the beach or pool and being able to secure and lock important things like a camera, wallet, phone etc. I ended up purchasing the LOCTOTE Flak Sack Sport through the Amazon website a month before my trip. It sat in the cool bag it came in until I was ready to go. I packed it up, locked it and headed out. My love was short lived while after a day of use, my lock reset itself! I could not believe it. My things were locked in my bag, thank GOODNESS I didn’t attach it to a pole or chair. I managed to squeeze my things out of the bag and quickly contacted LocTote to let them know what happened. My return window to amazon had just passed so that’s the reason I reached out to LocTote first. I was assured that “this happens” and was given instructions on how to “crack” the code on my reset lock. I was relieved and puzzled because on one hand I wanted to get the lock off the bag and on the other was like, should it be easy to open this if I’m trying to prevent people from opening it? Anyway, I couldn’t get the darn thing open and could not use the bag the rest of my trip. When I finally got home, I was able to crack the lock and was SO happy! Then I noticed that the strap coming out of the top had metal sticking out of it. I read how sturdy and cut proof, theft proof this bag is and yet mine is already falling apart after 1 day of use! Once again I reached out to LocTote and let them know how stoked I was to gets the lock open and off the bag, but how I can’t use it because of the mete al sticking out of the strap. I asked if I could please get a replacement bag. I said I could send the bag I have now back and would really just love a replacement. I didn’t ask for a refund. Just a replacement. I was was emailed the following response: “Hey,   Unfortunately, orders are only covered by warranty if they are ordered directly off of our website. I can give you a 50% discount code if you would like to order a bag directly off of our website.   Let me know, Christopher  Loctote Team” Not only is this unexceptional, but I will NEVER purchase a LocTote item again! I would not recommend this products quality or LosTote’s customer service! Amazon was kind enough to send a new bag after I contacted them and let them know the situation. I am so pleased with amazons customer service!
