Canon's website blames network settings, Windows, and everything else but the printer. The fact is, the printer goes offline and will not wake up. Try printing from any computer and it fails. Canon suggests cycling the power on and off. This sometimes works, usually not, but sometimes, and it is unreasonable to demand that everyone run to another room and cycle the printer every time they want to print something. Sometimes removing the printer from your printers list, turning off all computers, and cycling the power on the printer works. Usually takes two or three tries. Canon says there is nothing wrong their printer. Well, there is. It is useless at the moment.
