I ordered 2 sets of these to hang outside. The lights are gorgeous at night. Charged up in the sun no issues. Now the problems. 1 out of the 4, the hanger broke off the mounting plate, the light came down with it and the LED broke. 3 of the others came down in wind, and 1 of them also broke the LED. None of the heavy duty cages stayed attached leaving the LED essentially unprotected. I had them up less than a week. To be honest I'll probably replace the 2 broken ones and come up with my own solutions. *Update 11/26 So of the original 4, I used steel wire to loop the light cage to the hook/mounting plate. I also hot glued the light to the cage with a few dots of glue. The two lights did well. So I bought another pair and made the same changes. A around a week later, one of the hook/mounting plates (the exact location where I just replaced the hook/mounting plate that originally failed) failed with poor welds? to blame again. The LED on this one broke at the post on one end so I was able to repair that part. So far, 30% failure rate on their hook/mounting plates. The lights also seperate easily at the pivoting hoop that you hang them with. The hoops are very thin and do not penetrate far into the light top. I won't be buying any more of these, poor QC or just plain poor quality product.
