As a promoter of Havahart trapping for 35 years to friends and family because my original large animal single door trap has been working for 35 years perfectly. I have now returned 2 of these 2 door models, for various reason and most importantly they don't close properly allowing the animal to push out once trapped on one side. I am experienced having trapped hundreds of coons, skunks and armadillos. Also although still made in America the wire itself seems lighter and less substantial. My old one is tossed around, has been keep outdoor and doesn't even have a dent! This newer generation model, on the first one, I even received it dented when the box was not damaged. I'm not sure I could even dent my original one if I tried!
