This product advertises "Heat resistant up to 482 degree Fahrenheit, Can be used to protect your counter top, chicken tables from all hot things." BEWARE. It ruined my solid Cherry dining table. We put a large bowl of hot chili on the table on top of one of these. The imprint is still there where it was burned as you can see from the picture. There is no way it was over 482 degrees. I just called Amazon and they have no contact information available for the manufacturer. They are going to turn this in as false advertising from the manufacturer, but that is not helping our burned dining room table.
