First of all, I bought this item for work. I'm a teacher and I wanted to use the speakers for when we watch subjects on the computer. I had the speakers at the school one week and the first time I used them, I plugged the headphone jack into the computer. Worked beautifully. However, when I went to remove the headphone jack, the metal piece that goes into the computer stayed in the computer. The cable was a poor quality faulty cable. I purchased the products protection plan and made a claim. My claim was denied immediately. It was denied because they do not cover accidents. This was not an accident it was clearly a poorly made product. How is pulling the jack out an accident? I truly want to know. How?
