There is no way that the contents of the bottle I received where 100% pure peppermint oil. I had ordered a bottle from another brand before but this was a couple of U.S. dollars cheaper and I regret ordering it but am just taking it as a lesson learned. I use peppermint oil on my face because it keeps my skin clear and the contents on this bottle clogged my pores, was very oily feeling, and my face is broken out while I am awaiting the arrival of my bottle of actual peppermint oil that I have ordered to replace this (Pure Body Essentials is the brand I ordered and trust). I would not even use this in an aromatherapy oil diffuser or anything. Honestly it will likely be thrown out because we have no use for it in our home. It is way too oily. It has no tingly or cool feeling like you're supposed to get from it on your skin. You are left feeling oily and gross. So disappointed. Edit: Not long after I posted this review (my other half and I share this account, it is in his name) the company left him a voicemail saying I 'must have gotten a bad batch' and they would send another free of charge. Ok, if I got a 'bad batch' did you let every other customer that bought from the same 'batch' know that you would be replacing their products? They may not even know how to tell if it is pure or not, so if it is a bad batch, do the right thing and replace every bottle from this 'bad batch'. Oh, and the one I was promised? It never came and I never called back because it was about what I expected. I ordered the brand I usually order and am already about to order another bottle because I use a lot of it in the summer and I will happily pay the extra few dollars to get actual PURE peppermint oil and not this greasy, oily, mess. Second Edit: 16July2016 The bottle I was promised as a replacement never came, nor did a refund, which would have been the right thing to do because they are selling a product under false pretenses. This is NOT 100% pure, it is heavily diluted in some greasy oil, not sure which. I really hope that Amazon removes this product or forces them to stop advertising it as something it is not. I am unable to work due to medical reasons so the money I wasted on this product was not money I had to waste. There is no telling what is in this stuff, and I put it on my skin! Whatever is in it causes horrible clogged pores and oily skin resulting in break outs. This is, easily and by far, the worst purchase I have made this year. I would venture a guess that my replacement bottle never arrived because it would have been the same product and their 'bad batch' excuse was nothing more than that. They got my money and that is all that matters to them. Horrible product from a horrible company that doesn't care about quality or customer service. If there was a way to leave zero stars, this would be the product to leave it for. If you want good, quality peppermint oil, buy PURE BODY NATURALS brand.
