I have been looking for an item to reduce the sound of the noise in my plane for my wired haired pointing griffon and this seems to be a great idea. The reviews of the product left me skeptical at best but, I went ahead and figured I would give it a chance. The item arrived when expected. Unfortunately, the other reviews are correct. The design of the "muffs", the part that actually covers the ears has no sound reducing abilities at all. The three, very cheap quality, velcro straps are looped through the body of the earmuff with a large hole at the (3) strap locations. Then on the inside, there is a piece of blue foam that looks like about 1/4" thick and resembles that of what you can find in a shipping store. I took the muff and held them over my ears while I had some music on in the house and as expected almost no reduction in volume! For the price of the product, I was very disappointed. I am going to by a seat of children or small adult ear protectors and make my own design. should be less and the quality will be substantially better. I do not recommend this product.
