I ordered these for my fiance, who recently started painting. As a beginner set, I wasn't expecting much, but based on the previous reviews, and the price, I was expecting more than what I received. The set arrived within a few days, and although the package itself was in perfect condition, 4 of the 15 brushes were totally unusable. Upon opening the pack, which I am glad I did before I gifted them to her, I realized the bristles were crushed, and falling out. I was forced to iron the bristles back into place, trim the stray bristles, and try and doctor the set into as good a shape as possible. These would be fine for a child, but if you're seriously thinking about painting, I would invest in something a little better.
