★★☆☆☆
As a traditional cordless sure but Link2Cell comes up way short
Bought this phone from a local superstore because I needed it the same day. Will start off with the pros:
1) Nice fit and finish
2) Attractive looking phones
3) Phones work well are clear and seem to have decent battery life
4) The answering machine is good as well and you can listen to the messages from any of the handsets
Now the general cons:
1) Sometimes the menus can be confusing in certain cases (e.g. trying to turn off the annoying talking caller ID)
So looking at these things, you might think how is this not a 4 star review. The answer is that chances are that if you bought this you bought it for the Link2Cell feature to save some money. That was my primary reason for buying it. The reality is, however, that this feature barely works and may not work at all depending on your phone. I tried this with 3 different phones - Galaxy S3, HTC Incredible 4G, and HTC Rezound. In the first and last case, the phone was able to pair but calls were of very poor quality (cell phone right next to the base unit so not a Bluetooth issue). The incredible 4g was able to pair and worked for the first 5 days then stopped. No amount of pairing/unpairing would make a difference. Contacting support is also useless since they will just point you to the compatibility list which is pretty much useless save for a very small number of phones they claim are compatible. If you aren't on that list then that will be the end of the support call.
As a cordless phone - good, would recommend albeit expensive
For Link2Cell - not worth the time or the hassle
