SHOPPER BEWARE
Shopper Beware. Overall a good printer if all you are printing is on NORMAL paper weight, the thickness of copy paper. The Workforce series can NOT handle papers heaver than 24lbs in weight, which is the basic copy paper weight. Paper weight is an indication of the paper's thickness which is the culprit.
Hidden deep in the printer's manual is the actual paper specifications.
Paper types Plain paper and paper distributed by Epson
Thickness 0.003 to 0.004 inch (0.08 to 0.11 mm)
Weight 17 lb (64 g/m2) to 24 lb (90 g/m2)

If you try to print on a thicker paper eventually the paper transport will fail causing the entire device to become unusable. A slower learner, I've had this happen twice to me. I was using Avery's Business cards when the device failed. Since it was over a year old I am left with the only option of purchasing a new device. Not pleasant experience.
