Another author, or two in this case, that want to get you hooked so you'll go back and spend more money. DISGUSTING. There was so hype to this book and I didn't read the reviews. MISTAKE. The authors don't know know enough about writing to tell the difference between a series and serial novels. A two-book series is like a trilogy. Two books, each complete stories with a story arc tying them together. NOT A CLIFFHANGER! The first book goes around in circles with no point. There are some mild teases but nothing really happens. If I hadn't been laid up, I wouldn't have read it all. i wish I hadn't. It wasn't worth the time or energy waiting for something to happen. And definitely not worth 4-bucks to go read more of the same.
