This review is specifically about “Dark Brown #4” (although similar reviews have been written about other colors in this line. I’ve been using this product religiously for over 20years. They recently changed the formula and packaging. Heard of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!”?....well, Clairol hasn’t. This formula is a huge fail. Unfortunately, I bought a 3-pack. First go, I thought “Shame on you, Clairol”. Then thought, I should Try again...but second go, “Shame on me!”. Third go, you ask? No, thank you! I’m throwing that one in the trash. The color is supposed to be dark brown. It turned my hair light brown/orangey. It’s embarassing that Clairol has gone from being the best to zero overnight. I emailed them to tell them and their solution was I should try their permanent color. Ha. No thanks. Off to try a new brand. I’m truly bummed. Check out the reviews online...new formula is a big fail.
