For the price of this kit you are only able to make 4 small candles which you could buy for a few dollars each. The instructions are vague and do not tell you how much color or scent to use. The scents are terrible and cheap smelling. The colors are a terrible selection, you cannot mix, (putting less red will not make pink), purple looks black and is completely deceiving when it dries down. The pot is the best part of the kit, however, you can't make a larger candle with it unless you do multiple melting and layers. The wax it came with is only enough for those 4 small tins it comes with and it didn't even fill them to the top. This to me would be for a 10 - 12 year old. Then again, the colors would not appeal to them. I would suggest finding a better set or buying the items separately to get your money's worth. I feel this was a total rip off. Please shop smarter than I did. Since then, I have purchased wax and materials separately and I did get my money's worth that way.
