i was surprised to find you can't just plug it in. requires an electrician to install. there's a screw on the back and a plastic peg lower down, you'd have to remove the plate over the wall socket. the plastic peg doesn't let you screw it in over the wall plate. requested to return it, hoping it doesn't take too long for a response. why did i think to order this? i wanted it to plug in my cooking gadgets, mixer, food processor, coffee machine; i thought it would have been handy to not have the cords go all the way down to the floor into one of the long power strips.
