I'm updating AGAIN.... I lost another in the dishwasher. I think in the almost 20 years I have had this dishwasher we only broke 2 glasses before this. Once i was putting one in and I banged it and another time something heavy fell over a bit and broke a super thin wine glass. These heavy supposedly dishwasher safe glasses just spontaneously CRACK. I mean I literally baby them from point A to point B and also make sure nothing is even touching them in the glass rack. I am one pissed consumer! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Newest update.... 1 more cracked. I'm past upset into outright ANGRY. These glasses are beautiful. I loved them so much when unpacking I threw away my set of 16 matching cut Dublin glass water goblets I have had for over 20 years. I loved them and the ONLY reason I got rid of them was I was trying to to do an update on my style. Dumbest mistake I ever made. Not only am i out the money for these cracked Libbey glasses but now have to fork out MORE money to by a whole new set of sturdy pretty glasses. Oh yeah I also have to take MY TIME and ENERGY to start from scratch and hunt down these new glasses I have to buy. ( Like to say I even tried switching my dishwasher from hottest sanitary wash to regular wash cycle. I also turned off my heated dry. Both so the water wasn't so hot. Nothing like having cruddy half washed dishes just to try and not have broken glasses that are supposed to be dishwasher safe). ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Update number one....This is a FAIL all the way around , ugh the FIRST wash and two more came out with a crack. Not a BREAK but a crack. That makes 4 glasses gone due to cracks and I only just got them. I'm removing stars each time i get a new batch of cracks. this is ridiculous. Even more ridiculous I'm out the money and I'm still saying totally unfair I would have to jump through hoops to get a refund or replacement or whatever. I'm a hard working person and tired and honestly not worth the money to picture take and find packaging , wrap, go back and forth to mail, and the ship out this mess and then wait for someone to decide if the would accept them and refund me. I'd rather join the group of those just telling the problem. i made a huge mistake thinking the good votes outweighed the bad on these. Libby need to step up and just take these off the market or else fess up on the description EVERYWHERE they sell them and just SAY they are Fragile . ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________Original review.....I would definitely have given these a 5 star rating . The are very nice. i love the dimpled places that make it super easy for a secure hold. I love the weighted bottoms. They also came a day early which was a bonus. BUT..... The arrived with 2 rocks glasses cracked. Honestly I didn't even bother doing the dance for replacements with the seller because I'm too old and too tired to jump through the hoops taking pictures and transferring them to my computer to send in ...yada yada yada. SO...... would I recommend ...YEP. they are nice. I just am not happy about the cracked ones arriving .
