Hate to give a printer one star but I must. I have had nothing but HP printers forever. Never had a different brand in my home. I have used others at work etc, but always purchased HP. This one replaced a C3180 which I had for years and was working fine. It prints fine, scans fine, copies fine and picture quality is certainly acceptable, but after all these years, I resent HP taking away my option of refilling the cartridges I buy from them or someone else and this alone wouldnt be such an issue if this printer didnt use ink like a tank uses fuel. I am well aware of ink usage after over 20 years of HP printers and the amount of ink this uses isnt due to me changing my habits, but from HP building this extreme usage into the printer so they can sell more ink by also making it impossible for you to buy non brand cartridges or filling your own. I just have finally decided to put this relatively new, well functioning printer aside and have begun using the older C3180 again, but next time NO HP printer, or any HP product for me until HP shows me some loyalty and not out and out greed. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER OR ANY HP PRINTER or be prepared to spend a fortune on ink. BE WARNED.
