This coffee maker worked well for a few months, but is now leaking a cup or more of water all over the counter each time I use it. I believe that the steam is condensing somewhere and leaking out before it gets to the coffee grinds. This creates a mess and leads me to not using the machine. I am very disappointed in Black & Decker over this issue, as it should have been easily discovered in product testing and repaired before they started selling these. Many, many people are complaining of the same issue. ***Update: Black and Decker replaced the faulty coffee maker with a new one that did not leak. It worked for a year, and now the replacement leaks water just as fast as the old one. 12 cups results in 8 cups of coffee and 4 cups of water on the counter. Junk.
