like if you took it down to the bare bones ...
so I'll start by saying that the book has potential.. like if you took it down to the bare bones and took the overall plot and then deleted EVERYTHING else.. this is another book with a "look at me I'm so strong" female lead who is anything but.... and then add in the male leads.. we got the rapist vampire (but its like totally okay that he uses his mind powers to make people do what he wants because it didn't work on her and he like totally felt bad about trying to use them on her, after all she's his mate.. *giant eye roll*), then there's the werewolf who apparently hates almost everyone including the female lead, and treats her bad when he's not kissing her or looking at her like he wants to do dirty things with her... and 'lets not forget the last two we barely meet but that winter apparently likes like that even though she's only talked to them once for a couple of minutes.... then there is all the many many many plotholes and grammatical mistakes... did I mention there where many? like almost every other sentence had one it felt like..... basically it was sometimes impossible to figure out what was happening in the story or where the author wanted to take the story... now most of that i could maybe forgive in the hopes the next one would be better but.... my pet peeve is cheating and other women... and this book was just so horrible full of it... not in the traditional sense... not that we saw or anything but my god it was mentioned so many times how all of the guys didn't have a problem filling their beds, how they slept with a lot and so on... and lets not forget the fact that vampireboy had a girl he loved but died... these guys knew from they where kids that they had a fated one out there and instead of respecting her and waiting they f*** anything that would have them, and in vampy's case use his mp on the ones that dont... so yeah.... disgusting.... and then there's werewolf boy who's with someone else and even after knowing winter is his mate decides he doesn't want her and are with the other woman.... who tried to kill his mate even... every womans dream guys these walking a-holes... so the way I see it winter should just give them the finger, tell them where to stick it and then walk away... but of course that wouldn't be "romantic" or a "hea"... god forbid we actually portray a strong woman who says she would rather be alone than be with someone that doesn't respect her, treat her well or in any way show he loves her, just because he SAYS he loves her and he makes her hormones go crazy.... well I won't be reading any more books in this series...
