I don't write many reviews unless I feel very strongly for or against a product I've ordered and used. This one, unfortunately, is the latter. I saw this product featured in an online article about the new "glass bob" haircut popularity. Although I don't have a bob haircut, I do have a lot of thick, shoulder length hair that I blow dry and curl and I'm always looking for ways to control the 'frizz'. This stuff looked like ultimate solution! It wasn't. NO! I followed the directions and had read other reviews saying they really made sure to saturate their hair, comb it through, etc. It dried my hair out so badly that my frizz was actually WORSE! I still chalked this up to me not using it correctly somehow and tried again a couple days later. Attempt #2...still horrible results! My hair was super dry and actually shedding like crazy! I didn't dare try a third time! I had to get this stuff out of my hair (which takes a few shampoos) and deep condition it to get it back to normal. Now, to be clear, I do not live in a normally humid climate (Tucson, AZ) - but before you laugh, our summers tend to be on the humid side because of our monsoons, thus my decision to purchase this stuff in the first place. I just returned the product as of yesterday for a refund - and again, I don't do that very often either, but at $30 and as bad as I felt this stuff was, I had to!
