At first this pan was awesome. Easy to season and quickly became the most used pan in my kitchen. Then about 2 months in the pan warped horribly. It wobbles and spins on my stove. Cooks Illustrated recommended this pan, so maybe I got a dud, but I think it's much more likely that they just had to ramp up production to meet increased demand and their quality suffered as a side effect. Absolutely not recommended. Update 6/26/2016: In light of all the other positive reviews I ordered a second pan to see if my experience was a fluke. While performing the initial seasoning on medium heat using the Cooks Illustrated recommended method, the new pan warped. The sheer number of positive reviews leads me to believe that it *IS* possible to get a quality pan from Matfer Bourgeat, but my anecdotal experience says that it is difficult to do so and that their quality control is slipshod at best.
