Purchased these as a stopgap between moving homes. I didn't want to wire a system and then have to take it down in a couple months. My vehicle was stolen from my driveway the morning after I installed these. The cameras didn't "wake up" until my truck tires were hitting the street. Totally missed the thief getting into my vehicle. The lag from when the camera picks up motion to when it starts recording is far to long. I have the cameras set up to view my complete frontage and it will start recording when people are already half way across the front sidewalk. You can't expect a thief to walk slowly so the camera can start recording. I've decided to try them indoors to see if the motion recording works better. I'm convinced that for exterior security, you must have a continuous recording wired system. Pros: - these have better pictures than any camera I've seen so far. - daytime is crystal clear video - easy to install - nice app very user friendly - easy to share video with others Cons: - lag between motion and when it starts recording - batteries lasted 1 week from recordings being activated from normal street traffic - did I mention the lag from when it sees motion to when it starts recording?!??!????
