Not a fan. At all. I was very excited by the previews and hype, and there was a lot of potential for the story and characters, however it did not succeed. After the first episode my reflection was… I think this is awful, but I can’t tell yet. After the second episode I thought… I think I hate this show but it’s still unclear. Episode three was better, and I realized I was halfway through the series and committed to finishing it. Episode four was boring AF, and five was melodramatic with unnecessary and nonsensical romantic conflicts. I am dreading episode six, truly, but looking forward to closure and never watching it again What baffles me is how boring it is. For the amount of time that has apparently passed between episodes there should just be MORE happening. But all of the characters are just on high alert and worried about a threat that feels unsubstantiated and it’s completely unclear why it is necessary for any of these people to be together and doing what they are doing. Apparently the stakes are very high, but it doesn’t feel that way as the viewer. It just seems like there’s build up and nothing ever really happens and if something does happen it is completely predictable and anticlimactic.
