Product not as advertised
This product is supposed to run on AAA batteries, but it runs on three button batteries. The construction of the light is poor and the design is not suitable for EMT field work. The product came quickly, but it did not work out of the box. When I tried to return it, I was asked by the customer service rep to send a picture of the item disassembled (I have uploaded this picture on this web page under customer images). When I did they said that I was wrong and that I should put a AAA battery into it and try again. The box that the flashlight came in says that there are 2 AAA batteries that are shipped with it. There were no AAA batteries shipped with the flashlight. The flashlight did not work when a AAA battery is used. When I attempted to return the item, I was able to get RMA number, but the email indicated that I since the item had been taken out of the package, I would not get a full refund since the item is not in "resalable" condition. I have pasted that part of the email below: "Thank you for your order. However, if you want to return it, we will honor the Amazon's 30-day Return Policy. We will issue you a full refund if the merchandise is returned in resalable condition. We are waiving the 20% re-stocking fee. Your RGA # is 0211082, please write this number on your return box/envelope.The product should be returned in it's original condition (unopened/sealed) to:- Prime Medical Store 5750 N Sam Houston Pkwy E, Ste 707 Houston, TX 77032" I am very unhappy. The reason I was returning the flashlight is that did not function as advertised (works on button batteries not the AAA batteries advertised), and it did not work. The part that makes me unhappy is that I will not get refunded the shipping or the cost of the item since the item was not "resalable", and not "unopened/sealed" in the original packaging. How are you to know if the product does not work unless you open the package and try to use it? If the item is not functional, then how are you to return a "resalable" item? Thank you for not charging me a 20% restocking fee for returning a nonfunctional product. Do not buy this product. The product is not what is advertised, it did not function for me, and customer service is poor (full refunds are not company policy if the product is not returned in a resalable condition even if you received it in a nonfunctional condition). I have since declined to return this item as I will not get a full refund for the cost of the flashlight and I will be out the shipping costs. No sense throwing good money after bad. If I could give this a negative star rating I would.
