Great piece of equipment looks really nice on the outside of our brick home. It does NOT come with mounting hardware. I went to a DIY type store and picked up some anchors and bolts to affix to the bricks. It has a very sturdy feel. I did find a small problem with the type of hose, but NOT a problem with this Hose reel. The hose I used had a piece of plastic that strengthened the hose itself near the connector. This made the hose difficult to start to wind. But that is not the fault of the hose reel. I have seen other reviews that the finish wears over time. I think a touch up of paint every so often would help this stand up much longer. I was able to install this by myself, but would have been easier with 2 people. *UPDATE...as of 7-18-2015 only 6 months since I've had. It is now leaking a lot from the metal swivel. I checked to make sure it didn't come unscrewed which had happened before. I took apart the swivel by removing the spring clip and found the metal swivel was coroded on the inside. The corrosion was not allowing the the 2 O-rings to contact the swivel, allowing the water to spray out. Cleaning the swivel with a wire brush and replacing the O-rings did not help. Very disappointed with the longevity of this.
