Unit failed after 6 months. I called Emerson to file a warranty claim and was told a new unit would be shipped to me approximately 3 weeks after they've received the cord and return authorization I'm required to mail to them. A month without a microwave? No way. After the disappointment of having paid a not insignificant sum for a unit that turns out to be of low build quality, I have the further disappointment of customer service and a warranty that turns out to be effectively useless. Extremely disappointed. Would not recommend.
