Plexiglass chair mat broke at 14 months
This Plexiglass chair mat broke at 14 months. It is supposed to withstand 1400 pounds. I sat down and the mat just started cracking. The warranty is 12 months. This is just terrible. What is the alternative? Tempered glass? Not sure that would do any better. And if glass cracks you have something dangerous to clean up. It is thick and it was much easier to roll on, compared to polycarbonate mats. So I am unhappy about the longevity, but I am resigned to having to replace this with the same or similar plexiglass product. What a pain in the neck.
