Before this amplifier I had good S/N, but a very weak signal strength so intermittent noise would knock out my TV signal. After adding this Amplifier I had roughly the same S/N but with higher signal strength and a perfectly stable reception. However, this only lasted for about 3 weeks when I noticed my my reception was getting worse. Looking at the data showed that I was getting periodic uncorrectable errors. Output on the oscilloscope showed intermittent spikes in signal voltage that were only present with the amplifier in circuit. I tried using other 5V DC power supplies as well and the error was still present, so it can only be in the amplifier itself. This appeared to be a very good product at first, and may be perfect for someone with a shorter run from the Amp to the tuner, but in my case with 50' of RG6 between the injector and antenna itself the Amp started faulting in less than 1 month. I am now using a cablemaster cm7777hd in high gain mode which actually has improved my S/N (maybe the filters actually help) and provides an even higher more stable signal and seems to be a for more durable product so far.
