I have two Obi's and they work really nice BUT ... Obi engineers refuse to add protection against SIP scanners. Quick WIKI on this , SIP scanners are generating calls to your phone attached to an Obi device , usually the CID shows 100 , 1001 or 2001 among other garbage. These calls can't be blocked by your SIP provider so you're in for some fun with calls every 25 minutes in the middle of the night/ because they come directly from Internet not trough provider network, If you search Obi forums you will see that since 2012 people are asking for a switch in software but obi refuses and ignores the pleas to fix this problem. There are some methods to deal with this issues , just Google "Thwarting SIP Scanners during Set-up " for details. Fix is not hard but not something a regular computer user could either . That is the reason I can only give Obi 2 stars even tough it is a great device but development team are just ignoring this real issue for the user.
