Loved the camera—the size of camera and pictures taken were incredible! On second trip when camera was less than 2 months old, a dot appeared on each picture. It was still under warranty so we called and sent it back at a $20 cost for shipping. Almost 2 months later received a call from Panasonic saying they were not honoring the warranty because of misuse. They would sell us a new camera for $20 less than we originally paid for it. They would send pictures of the damage. No pictures sent! 2 weeks later they called us again to tell us the same thing. Finally they sent the pictures. They were on the outside of the camera only. There was a lot of debris on the outside that we did not see when we sent it. Since we can not get any satisfaction from the Panasonic person who says she is not a technician and keeps repeating the same information like a robot, we are still deciding whether or not to buy the same camera again since they do not honor the warranty. We both have older versions of Panasonic cameras that work fine and have never had these problems. If Panasonic comes thru with a more satisfactory replacement, we will update this review.
