**UPDATED** I bought this vacuum 5 years ago. I liked it for two years. Now I absolutely hate it! The suction is awful unless you’re using the attachment hose for small spaces. I have completely cleaned it out from top to bottom to make sure there were no blockages and it still doesn’t work well. It just does NOT pick stuff up. I actually quit using it altogether and I currently use our Shopvac, which is a major improvement from the Dyson!! Additional problems... 1) No cord rewind- every vacuum should have this by now!! 2) Cord must be completely unwrapped to use attachment hose because the top cord hook is attached to the hose. 3) Cord constantly comes unwrapped when the vacuum is in use. I’m always fumbling with that dumb cord!! 3) Constantly falls over when in the standing locked position. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used the attachment hose and the handle has fallen over and hit me. Dangerous!! 4) Very awkward to push when it’s off. Save yourself about $400 and get something else!
