THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE VIDEOMIC GO. I bought this mic for my canon 6D mark II I do product reviews on youtube (channel MKvapor) I tried the mic when I got it there were a hissing noise sometimes crackling noise so I looked up the problem on youtube to find a solution for it watched 5 videos and their solution was to throw it away and thats the same solution rode would give you if you call them they will say oh have you heard about our video mic pro + its like I bought a chevy cruze that only drives in revers if i go to the dealership they tell me have you heard about our Cadillac escalade. there is no fix for the problem its just BAD. I had to make a video for a product it was to be dune the 29th of November and I was stuck with this mic over 300 comments n my video were about how bad the sound is. now after losing my subscribers and views =$ also the dissatisfaction of the company with the video I have to go throw return and spending $200 more to get the decent mic and having to wait for it.
