These promised to be "razor sharp", but were dull as used manicuring scissors. My poor little dog had to endure having her nails clipped with these as they had grown very long while awaiting the clipper's arrival. I had already thrown away the clippers I previously owned for years, which were still sharper than these I just bought, foolishly believing the promise that these new blue clippers would deliver what they promised -- will never make that mistake again. AND, never plan on buying these clippers again! Sorry to say, but true.
