I have the small black ants that seem to go after sweet things. Going off this description it was perfect. Knowing I was going on vacation for 10days it was a perfect time to treat everywhere. I cleaned my house, vacuumed the floors, got ride of anything they could possibly want to eat. I placed pieces of cardboard around with the treatment on them. Within 5mins the ants had flocked to it. Goodbye! 10days later I returned to ants. This stuff seemingly had no impact. I’ve since retreated several times each time the ants flock to the substance. Feels like I’m just feeding the ants a free lunch at this point. Update 1.5 months: I have successfully tested sugary children’s cereal next to this doing a A/B test. I can say conclusively that both feed the ants and have no ill effect on them. I have started to call them by name at this point. John, Charlie, Suzy, Paco, and Bub(lots of Bub’s). If anyone knows how I can legally collect rent from them I’d love to know. Update 1 month: I have reapplied the product weekly now with no positive results. While I can’t prove it I’m pretty certain the ants have called their friends to let know I am providing free food at my ant soup kitchen. Wish it worked, but it just let me down.
