We bought and set up this product before our baby was born with plans for him to sleep in our room in the bassinet. Because the bassinet has that rotating feature it tends to have some give from side to side. When we place our newborn in it the bassinet will lean towards one side creating a slightly sloped surface. This is concerning because it causes him to roll to his side with his face very close to the wall of the bassinet. I don't feel he is safe sleeping in it. We've tried repositioning him but he still rolls to one side. This is not the way he normally sleeps because he will stay on his back when placed on a sturdy flat surface. Over all the product has a lot of great features but the main reason we bought this for our family was for the removable bassinet. I wish we would have spent less money on this product and bought a separate bassinet for him instead.
