Horrible quality product. Over the years I've assembled at least thirty or forty pieces of furniture in this class. This one was significantly more tedious than even the runner up for assembly. That in and of itself isn't a reason to complain. You only build it once after all. However, this product had significant defects which you wouldn't be able to identify until you're well into the process. The holes are indeed very hit or miss. After getting everything built and dealing with items an eighth to quarter inch misaligned using the predrilled holes, we wound up with drawers that were significantly misaligned, hardware that was too defective to use at all, and a very wobbly unsturdy cabinet. 1.) One door wasn't able to be attached 2.) Significant scratches to areas from manufacturer process 3.) One drawer so misaligned it wouldn't close 4.) Hardware with defective threading which couldn't be fixed at all This was a unit drop shipped from the manufacturer store sold through Amazon: Sauder Furniture and Outlet. The stores response was (to paraphrase): "we know you can't take it apart at this point, but otherwise there's nothing we can do for you." Don't waste your time. This will end in disappointment. Also - seriously - the picture attached is with the predrilled holes. I didn't miss a step or forget how a screw driver works. This product is seriously just this bad. Also the photo actually makes the finish look far less crappy than it is. The finish quality is unlike any other product in this category. It's laminate in some places which is part for course, but poorly painted presswood in other areas. Those painted presswood components are a close-ish match...
