I first purchased this interactive dog for my mama in June 2019. She immediately loved it and the two of them became inseparable. Unfortunately, after three months, "Monty" began to make a loud, creaking noise when he turned his head. It was obnoxious. So, I took the pup to be "groomed" and replaced him with a brand new dog in October. As one other reviewer stated, the second one didn't respond as well as the first one and now it has completely stopped working. Yes, I changed the batteries and yes, I tested them first. What am I supposed to do now??? Mama has had three real, live dogs die and has said she can't stand to lose another one. Replacing her Monty every three months just doesn't seem like a very reasonable option.
