Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

The Shadow that bred this can only mock, it cannot make: not real new things of its own. Amazon keeps deleting bad reviews, including mine. This show is trash and the actions Amazon has taken to silence people are pathetic. This show will not recover, it will just get worse. This show has nothing to do with Tolkien. The creators of this show should be ashamed. They keep claiming reviews are not fair or hateful. This is not true. So you want reviews to focus on what was bad, okay. Here we go. 1. The writing is that of a child's fan fiction. A discussion between Elrond and Galadriel is literally: Galadriel: “you don’t know anything” Elrond “I know some things” Galadriel: “but you don’t know anything!” 2. Thus far the story cannot be found in the appendices of the return of the king. How do I know this? Because I’m a fan and have read it. Galadriel is quite literally ruling a city state by the second age, married with children. Literally the only facts we know about Galadriel in the second age and Amazon got none of them correct. 3. Outright disrespect for the source material. The writers did not just ignore Tolkiens actual writing, the show runners went out of their way to disrespect Tolkien and Tolkien fans. The latter I can forgive, it’s popular for major IP’s to disrespect fans, but to disrespect the author is unacceptable. Then to change, alter, and omit the words of Tolkien to fit the Amazon narrative is laughable and sad. 4. Where are the cities? I see mat-paintings of cities but no exploration. Just cuts to interiors. 5. No explanation for anything. Quite literally you need to have read the appendices and the silmarillion to understand anything that’s going on. And if you did you understand what the writers were trying to say, but failing at miserably. No character introductions either, who are they? Where did they come from? Why are the characters so dislikable. Truth, you had characters talk about Fëanor and the Silmarils, but new viewers won’t understabd anything. Seriously who wrote this trash, fans will understand and dislike the show because it’s so inaccurate, while new viewers will have no clue what’s going on or who anyone is. 6. Galadriel warrior princess. This is the worse part of the show. Literally this character you’ve created is not Galadriel, not even close. Did anyone read anything about Galadriel? How about her only entry in the appendices. “Galadriel is married to Celeborn”. The show didn’t even do the one thing we all know, without a shadow of a doubt about Galadriel in the second age!!!! My goodness, was it too much to ask for just a little accuracy. Take away her wisdom, her intelligence, and brilliance, fine, but at least get one fact right. That’s all I’m willing to write about this failed show. There’s a lot more wrong with it, the list would be a mile long just for the first two trash episodes.
