Bad concept niche product
This is great (with caveats) if you need lots of power in your truck for camping, and don't want to deal with a gas generator.
Not good for almost anything else I can think of.
Downsides:
1) heavy, not really easily portable
2) it's NMC battery technology, with 500 discharge cycles bringing the capacity to 80%, and then linearly losing capacity after that at a similar rate. So here lie the caveats: if you use it to camp every weekend, it will serve at least 10 years. If you use it daily, it will start becoming a dead weight after 2 years. Basically you lose 20% of the 5000 cost in the first 2 years, because it's an inverter (around 1000) integrated with batteries (around 2000), once the batteries lose capacity, the inverter is useless.
A concept like this would be monetarily sound when the battery tech becomes cheaper, and when these devices will start to have easily replaceable (and hopefully lighter) batteries.
