Bought this cable just nearly a month ago as a second shorter set for desk use. I intended to use this cable at my desk and then pop in the longer OEM cable when using the headphones elsewhere. I did like the screw-on 1/4" jack converter and the braiding felt nice and solid. Overall sound quality, I didn't notice any difference from the OEM cable. After quick inspection, I didn't see anything directly wrong with the quality of the cable. The major issue came up when I tried to remove the cable from the headphones. The OEM cable is solidly plugged in and takes a bit of effort to unplug but they come out easily by hand but these NewFantasia plugs would NOT come out I pulled on the cable with considerable effort giving it all I could the plug still wouldn't come out. They are completely stuck! I had to resort to pliers to get this plug out and even then I really had to pull. When I finally got the plug out one of the prongs of both plugs came out of the plug and stuck in the headphones. I had to yank and pull at these prongs with the pliers for a few minutes before I finally got them out. Luckily my expensive headphones were saved minus a couple scratches from the pliers and the cable itself is completely ruined. Definitely wouldn't recommend this at all unless you are never going to remove them once they are in.
