will not buy again. had switched to Tom's years ago due to their commitment to conserving our waterways and more 'natural' and 'naturally derived' ingredients. when we learned the family would sell the business, we had heard that part sale required these values continue on, but after buying this, took a more careful look and was surprised to find Tom's toothpaste has sodium laurel sulfate as an ingredient. I am fully aware the within the product it is a small amount, but obviously we bought this for our child and they will swallow some until they learn proper technique, years from now. in the meantime they will ingest unknown quantities of this kind of product. also noticed the rivers initiative hasn't appeared on the packaging in years, so that must have been done away with too. don't have any packaging from the time before Tom's was bought out by 'big name company' but I don't recall seeing SLS on the ingredient list. maybe I'm wrong, either way we have to switch all our toothpaste in the house away from Tom's. sad.
