WARNING! THIS IS REGARDING THE CHARCOAL FILTERS AMAZON HAD ASSOCIATED AS, 'FREQUENTLY PURCHASED WITH', THIS FOUNTAIN! These filters are 'NOT' manufactured by the same company that makes this fountain! After these filters had completely blocked the water flow from the pump, I just had to call the company to complain about these filters. That's when I was told that these filters were not made by the company that manufactured the fountain. Ans my telephone call was 'not' the first this company had received about this situation. They are very well aware of these '3rd party' filters, and the problems associated with them! And they were 'not' very happy that these are so easily associated with their fountain on the amazon web site! The way it is shown on the, 'fountain page', it looks as if these come from the same company that manufactures the fountain! The cleaning brush kit, (also shown as 'frequently purchased together'), 'IS' a Drinkwell product. So it is 'quite deceiving' that these filters appear as if they are also a Drinkwell product. In fact, (after you purchase and receive these filters), is states right on the box, "This product is NOT manufactured or distributed by Radio Systems Corp, owner of the Petsafe and Drinkwell trademarks." The box also states, "Premium Charcoal Filters for Petsafe Drinkwell Avalon & Pagoda Fountains." And has a name of 'Pet Standard' on the box. When I was on the telephone, one of thefirst things they asked me was if this was a box of 12 filters. When I confirmed that it was, they automatically and immediately knew what the issue was, as their filters only come in boxes of '4'. They immediately knew that the problems I was experiencing was due to these '3rd party' filters! Again, my telephone call was 'not' the first they received about these issues. These filters are 'JUNK'! And they should not be associated with this fountain! They will 'clog up' within a weeks time and totally cut off the water flow from the pump! I just hope my pump did not sustain any damage from the use of these filters!
