I purchased this product for my sons birthday. He loves collecting and finding rocks. Prior to purchasing I looked at other products and reviews. The National Geographic had the best reviews, but was the most costly. I was extremely dissatisfied with this purchase.i Would give it -5 stars if I could! There'S maybe 1 REAL Geode and it looked like plastic and the other rocks I'm pretty sure are manufactured and produced. The insides of many of them looked like cement with pieces of plastic. There was only one large rock that was hollow with white crystals inside. The rest were cement balls. My hammer broke in two pieces trying to crack the "Geodes" open. There is no variety with these products. No colored geodes. Waste of money and a COMPLETE rip off. Fake product. I do not recommend, as you can see from the photo's they don't crack they aren't hollow, they are chunks of cement. I probably could have seen something more interesting cracking rocks open from my backyard. RIPPPPP OFFFF.
