I was ignorantly very happy with this mattress protector until last night. My 4 year old climbed in bed with us after having a bad dream and shortly after had an accident in our bed. I thought thank god for our mattress protector my BRAND NEW mattress won’t be ruined. We stripped everything off the bed only to find that the mattress had a large damp spot that reeks of urine. I have 4 young kids and literally the only reason I purchased this waterproof cover was to protect the first new mattress I’ve owned in my adult life. The cover did not live up to its claim of being waterproof at all and my money is wasted. We’re extremely disappointed.
