I'm pretty upset with this blanket. Let me start off by saying that it is very soft and I really do want to like it, but I have had problems with two of these blankets. I purchased one a month or so ago and was so happy to be able to jump into an already-warm bed. I left it on a lower setting so I could have it on all night and be comfortable. Fast forward to 4am and I wake up sweating because it climbed to the highest setting on its own. I checked the manual and online and nothing was mentioned about this problem or how to fix it. I left a question here to see if anyone else who had bought the blanket had the same issue; the company said to call and talk to them, and when I did they said to send it back because that isn't supposed to happen. So I sent it back and ordered a new one hoping it was a one-off problem, but I just got this new one and it is doing the same exact thing. I turned it on 5 and an hour later it has turned itself up to 7. I hate to have to go through this process again of sending it back and buying another. So inconvenient. I guess I'll just buy an outlet timer and set it to go off after a few hours and back on before I wake up? What else could I do? Ugh.
