I actually really enjoy getting these boxes. This box was pretty decent with a couple of good sized samples. Nothing worth spending $20 for, but the perk is the credit you get to use towards a luxury item. Ah, but there's the catch. Not just any luxury item, only an item from a list of Amazon approved items (555 to be exact). But that's a lot of choices! Indeed, but of those 555 items, only 3, count them, 3 are less than $20. I noticed that this wasn't the case just a few days or even a couple weeks ago when I started looking at how I would spend my credit before the expiration this month. Several items have increased in price, some as much as 50%. Hmm, is this because people like me are looking to use the credit before the expiration and Amazon assumes I'll spend more just to use the credit? And just as a comparison, I checked out the options for the men's luxury box credit (I bought one for my husband). They have several Amazon approved products too, 359. And of those 359 Amazon approved products, do you know how many are under the $20 credit; 117 items. Those lucky guys and all their spending options. This is the second box I've purchased from Amazon, and the last. The first time I had several options to use my credit on, that didn't force me to spend more than $2 over my credit. So at this point, it's Amazon 20 and me 0.
